Kelly is constantly bringing home art projects from school. She loves to draw, paint, color, cut, glue, fold...whatever it takes to make a work of art come to life. Everyone told me about how hard it would be to figure out which works of art to save and what to, well, have disappear, because we figure we can't keep everything, right?! Well...that has definitely been a challenge and I have at least two boxes so far...ugh! So I've pretty much decided to put off deciding what to keep and what to get rid of! Maybe I'll just give it all to her when she is old enough so SHE can decide! HA!
In the meantime though, the best of the best get some display time in the house.
We started with her bedroom door, which quickly filled up.

The display then overflowed to our bedroom door, which also filled up pretty quickly.

Kelly then decided that James' bedroom door deserved some too!

Here is our family portrait (she told me she ran out of room for Willie & James, sorry!)

And her self-portrait...which I thought was very interesting.
She has no idea how accurate this is - she IS a Gemini!!!

I'm not sure what we'll do when we run out of doors & walls. I may have to create a special Dohrer Art blog just for all her creations!

Take close-up pictures of them and then make a screen saver.
Great pieces of art. I don't blame you for not wanting to toss them.
