My Graceful Ballerina

On Kelly's last day of ballet class, I asked her to do some ballet moves for me so I could take some pictures. Just look at all she has learned!!

Ok, we need to work on the hand placement a bit...

For all you non-ballet people, this would be "first position"! When I or her instructor would go to straighten out her knees, her feet would pop apart! Still working on that balance.

Wow, these little girls are all so flexible. Wish I could still grab my toes that easily!

Getting her certificate of completion from Miss Sylvia. This was her curtsey...she has her arms crossed sorta like she's saying, "yo, yo, yo, y'all...that was C-Cooool!" Maybe I should sign her up for a hip-hop class next?

Actually, there is another 8-week session that starts in January with the same instructor and most of the little girls from her current class are going on to that one too, so I think we'll be signing up for another round and see where it goes from there :-)
