Kelly & mommy went to Sea World last night. It was just the two of us for a while, walking the park, familiarizing ourselves with the lay of the land (we bought a year pass, so we'll be back often now!).
Then we met up with Chelsea, Frank, Amber & Kainoa just in time to see the Shamu Rocks show. Kelly and Kainoa had a great time together - they really are good pals.
Kelly definitely had a blast and seemed to enjoy some of the exhibits....but still seemed to find just as much excitement playing in the grass or with the chain rope & stancions that blocked us from some not-yet-open exhibit. The one thing she did get pretty excited about was Shamu - I bought her a tiny stuffed Shamu that she could hold in the palm of her hand (was the only thing I could find for less than $5 bucks!) She held that thing for the last 3 hours straight. Here she is passed out from our active day, with binky-baby, but also still clutching Shamu.
