Christmas Whirlwind

Ok, ok! I know I know! I have been a bad little blogger and not posted anything for quite a while. As someone recently complained to me, "gee, you send out all those Christmas cards with your blog address and then post nothing new!". Weeeellll.... (trying to think of a really good excuse here...) It was a pretty busy week or two and I think I was more tired from it all than I realized! Also, my camera continued to be completely unusable and "in the shop" over the holidays, so I don't feel like I got a lot of good photos (I was using a disposable!) :-( So if any of you that were here have some, please send them to me!

All in all, we had a wonderful Christmas! Kelly had a blast opening presents, singing Christmas carols with mommy, decorating the tree (although leaving the ornaments on the tree was a bit more challenging), and spending a lot of time with family & friends.

The Christmas weekend started with Gary's clan coming together here at our house on the 22nd which was loads of fun. Kelly's nirvana began! She was showered with so many great presents - mostly balanced between Disney princess stuff and Thomas the Tank Engine stuff!

Grand-dad Don popped over on Christmas Eve as well as a couple of our friends. Kelly loved this Thomas book and especially loved Grand-dad reading it to her!

She was so excited Christmas morning when she saw all the presents under the tree! Kelly, Willie & James opened their presents together.Then the other half of my clan came on Christmas day!The day after Christmas Kelly & I went to Temecula for a few days visit as well. First to Nana & Papa's:

Then at Grand-dad's where Kelly got to visit & play with her cousins Lucas & Connor.

It was a very special year and we look forward to it being more fun each year with her!
