Hopping on the Blogger Bandwagon

Hello all! Ok, I have finally decided to jump onto the blogger bandwagon (thanks for the inspiration goes to Kathy, Jen/Steve, and now Nikki, who has two new baby twins and still has had time to create/maintain one!). I know many of you have enjoyed receiving the Kelly report & photos over the past couple of years. I dare say I have slowed down a bit with the photo taking of miss Kelly. I went from about 100/month down to barely 5 or 6! I didn't have any this month as my camera was sent back at the mfgr getting fixed, so to start this out, I'll be going back a month or two, then get on with current Kelly events in future entries. Anyway, I think this will be a little more fun, informative, hip & creative than the old Kelly report...that is the goal at least! Plus this way I can save all my blog posts & photos for Kelly to see later in life and treasure always! (we mothers like to think so at least :-).

Here is a photo of Kelly after a full day of activities this past 4th of July - The look says it all - I'm DONE! Sometimes I wonder if she emulates me more than I think, because I KNOW I look like that almost every night when I go to bed! HA!

Earlier this month Kelly & I went to a Labor Day BBQ at our friends Kathy & Tim's house - Kelly had sooo much fun seeing and playing with all my friends kids (who we don't get to play with often enough as we live in "North County" San Diego, which may as well be on the other side of the planet, especially during the summer when traffic is at its most unbearable on the 5-fwy). So we had 6 little hellions wreaking havoc in the "kids wing" of Tim & Kathy's house including Devyn, Katie & Andrew, and Tommy & Nicole (which she says as if they were one name, "Mommy? Go TommeeCole? Go TommeeCole?". Here is Devyn, Kelly and Nicole playing piano.

While visiting Nikki & the twins last weekend (was a FAB trip btw and hope to have some pics soon from Nik as I did not have my camera with me!), she asked me, "do you think Kelly will grow up to be a girly-girl-type or sort of a tom-boy-type? Well, a photo that I took of her this July immediately came to mind, which I believe answers that question perfectly... BOTH!!! Hey, who says a girl can't play badmitten in high heels!

Well, I think this is a good start. I've been putting this off for so long thinking it would be too difficult and take too long, but it is actually pretty easy! So, more Babs' Blog (i.e. the NEW Kelly Report) to come! But bear with me as I continue to learn all the great customizing options!
